[COMPUTERIZED TRANSLATION] How to know the size of all the repertories of a disc easily and free (Windows, Linux, Mac OS X) (06.03.07)
If a disc or a reader network starts to saturate, it is useful to know
the size of the repertories contained on the reader concerned. The
five utilities indicated below (DFolder, KDirStat, WinDirStat,
SequoiaView and GrandPerspective) propose this functionality.
The five utilities pr?nt?ci-dessous (mainly Windows, except
KDirStat under Linux/*nix and GrandPerspective under Mac OS X) make it
possible to take note of the size of all the r?rtoires and
under-r?rtoires disc or of a reader r?au.

DFolder
(http://www.autourdupc.com/Logiciel/Utils/Softs/dfolder.zip) int?e
with the contextual menu of your explorer, it is thus enough to make a
right click on a r?rtoire, to choose Propri?s and then s?ctionner
the Taille mitre.

the Unix order "of". Is the software a program KDE and turns without
probl? on any X11 desk. It functions under Linux, BSD and much of
others syst?s of exploitation similar?nix (Solaris, HP-UX, AIX...).

WinDirStat
(http://windirstat.sourceforge.net/) is a software?art enti? who
analyzes space occup?ar the r?rtoires and under-r?rtoires and who
posts that of F? tr?simple and intuitive (with in option a sight out
of tree). It is in fact the clone of KDirStat under Windows (KDirStat
is the original).

SequoiaView
(http://www.win.tue.nl/sequoiaview/) finally is?lement a software?art
enti? who proposes a sight out of tree, id? for d?cter tr?rapidement
of F? visual the greediest r?rtoires and files.

GrandPerspective
(http://grandperspectiv.sourceforge.net/) is a similar software
